I am getting lots if emails asking if I will have any leftover kits to sell for this class. I probably will but I can not be sure until I teach the class as I always give the students in class a chance at any extra kits. If you are interested in being put on a list for these kits just shoot me your email address and I will contact you when I return.
The class will have a different color scheme than the book that is pictured here. I will post a photo of the actual project soon but it will be very similar to this.
I am also getting asked if I will list my photos/presentation in my etsy store as many of you have already bought the printables and digital files to create your own version of this book when we had our housewarming party. I will do that when I return so check back for that.
And, if you are in the Houston area come and take the classes on the 13th and 14th, we would love to see you!

I personally don't think she can really get any cuter...but I could be biased! ;) And seriously...the flower on the shirt just makes me smile!
and then of course the spooky trick or treaters...and yes, if you saw last years costumes you will notice Taylor and Mckinley decided they wanted to wear them again. And since we have enough chaos in our house right now I decided that was a super idea!!
Our little power ranger is one tough little boy until you send him off in the darkness to trick or treat. He was scared of everything including his shadow but not scared enough to deter him from the candy. He usually just calmy told them when they answered the door "your spider scares me, your pumpkin scares me, your bones scare me!" LOL "But trick or treat" It was actually very funny and I think scored him even more candy because people thought it was so funny!

I always get excited when I go to Houston to visit with Tracy and the lovely ladies that always come to the classes and this next trip is even better as I get to go to the Nutcracker Market and see old friends....with no kiddos, shhhhh!
Tracy posted about the classes so I wanted to post them as well. You can go here to register.
I am super excited to be teaching the Home Mini Book for the first and probably only time. I have changed up the colors a bit but I am so excited about the way it has turned out! I have not photographed the new color scheme just yet but here is a little peek at the original book I made:
And then by request I am also teaching the Thankful Heart class that I taught to the Dallas ladies.
So if you are local....or even if you are not and have been meaning to travel to the pink store, do it Nov 14th and 15th...you will not be disappointed!
Have a great weekend!

my friends Deb and Paula at 7gypsies asked if I wanted to make a project using some of their products...uhm???? YES, I don't even have to think twice about that! So go on over and take a little peek at what I did. Their products have always been some of my favorites, always suits the vintage vibe I enjoy so much. And of course the project had to be all about Ms. Blakely!
The funny thing is that this yellow polka dot paper matches the bedding I bought for her exactly....so I see lots of this paper in my future. I have a little something I plan on using these for...as well as this gem! I promise I will share when it is complete!
Supplies Used: HOF3 Heart Box, Terrassa (Yellow Dot Paper), Victoria Paper Tape, Victoria Pandora Paper, Vintage Buttons, Jenni Bowlin Buttons, Tim Holtz Distress Ink Orange Marmalade and Vintage Photo, Tiny Attacher, Vintage Ribbon

What a great time we had this weekend in Dallas. We created cool projects, got our hands dirty, laughed, cried, made new friends and caught up with old friends. Thank you to everyone who took time out of their busy schedules to attend!
I have had a ton of emails about our leftover kits and wanted you to know that we do have some. I have kits for my class, Heidi's class and an add-on kit for the alcohol inks and alcohol ink pen that Heidi used on her project. Both kits come with a full color presentation on how to create the project. Email me if you are interested and I will get you more info.
And of course I can not post without a photo....here is Heidi seeing Blakely for the first time. (Stacie I totally stole this from you since I am so dumb and didn't take any photos!! Bad scrapbooker!)
Hope everyone has a great week....lots to do and I am hoping to hit the ground running tomorrow morning, wish me luck!

**ETA: Amy Stuart...you are my winner. Email me your address and I will get your kit out to you asap! Congrats!!
So I have been busy getting ready for Heidi's arrival and our classes together on Saturday...I am so looking forward to it. Believe it or not Heidi and I have not seen each other (other than our video chatting) since January...can you believe it? WAY TOO LONG and we are excited to be able to have some face time together even if it is too short...and Rhonna we will miss you! Just not the same with only 2/3rd's of the team here. Maybe next time we will all three be together in Dallas! ;)
So I thought since it is Friday (TGIF right?)...and I am feeling giddy about our Day to Play weekend that I would give a kit for my class away to one lucky blog reader...so leave me a comment about the project and if you know anyone in Texas that would have a fab time at our girls weekend....send them the details and tell them to come on out and join us!
I am also looking forward to seeing a few of my Houston girls as well...so lucky they love me enough to come down and join us!
Happy Friday!!
ps- And just because I can't post without a photo....have you seen these yet? And these placecards? Swoon...I want to wallpaper my studio with the gray damask.....sigh. Maybe one day my studio will have finished walls. Honey....are you listening?
